Nkandla costs total 2 billion Rand – where do they end?

In their report Nkandla: Profligate and presidential, the M & G on-line total up the costs of development in the Nkandla area, including development of the ‘private’ presidential palace (we are not supposed to use the word ‘compound’, according to Mac Maharaj – it resonates of apartheid era usage and is racist) at a whopping 2 billion rand.

  • Q: When will there be an end to this profligacy?  
  • A:  After the 2014 elections.
